the rise of the LP Army
In the vast expanse of the Solana galaxy, there was a planet named Jupiter, known for its lightning-fast swaps and many moons. One of its moons, Europa, was rumored to hide a secret ocean of liquidity beneath its icy surface. This cosmic story begins with our mysterious janitor, hailing from the scorching planet of Mercury, who discovered an ancient, powerful NFT frozen deep within Europa's icy crust.
Our janitor, one of the masterminds behind Jupiter and Meteora, realized that to harness this hidden liquidity, the NFT would have to be destroyed. With a twinkle in his eye and with the help of the wise Owls from Ovols, he summoned a shower of meteors to shatter the NFT, releasing the liquidity trapped within the moon. The process split the NFT into a million $DED tokens, each containing the essence of the ancient NFT and embodying the spirit of rebirth and endless possibility. Thus, $DED was born, a symbol of resilience and new beginnings for Solana.
The creation of $DED sparked excitement across the Solana galaxy. Enter the LP Army, a fearless group of degens and traders drawn to the allure of $DED. Inspired by the story of Europa's hidden ocean and the janitor's ingenious creation, they dove headfirst into the liquidity pools of Meteora. Using $DED tokens, they etched their names in history by forging new, unique NFTs from the fragments of an ancient relic. Thus, their legacy shall echo through the ages, a testament to their enduring courage. No matter what happens, they are eternal... for what is $DED simply cannot die.

In the ever-evolving universe of the Solana galaxy, the tale of governance and community is one of legacy, resilience, and collective vision. Following the creation of $DED and the excitement it sparked, our wise janitor, having set a strong foundation, passed the torch to the community and entrusted five DEDicated members: f0xyy, OG77, Magicka, Mystic Wolf, and Hugo. These council members embarked on a mission to shape the future of the $DED ecosystem.
The council developed a website, airdropped free tokens & NFTs to the community, and etched their names in history by running a $DED only mint, generating 699 NFTs from shards/tokens originating from a fractionalized NFT. Their efforts structured the DAO and rewarded both the $DED and Meteora communities.
On Realms, over 60% of the $DED circulating supply has been used to voted with, showcasing the community's engagement. Another significant portion of $DED tokens remains securely locked in an LP safeguarded by the janitor, who continues to hold down the Meteora fort. The distribution of $DED via airdrops to liquidity providers, OG Solana projects, developers and creators of educational content has pushed the boundaries even further.
The DAO still holds over 100k $DED tokens and a substantial sum of SOL/stablecoins (from royalties & LP fees), which can be used for growth, development, and community rewards. The current council, with the janitor holding veto power, utilizes a multi-sig wallet to safeguard the DAO's interests and ensure transparent governance.
The ultimate goal for the current council members is to support Meteora, fostering creative endeavors and advancing educational content around liquidity pools. This mission aims to continue assisting with the development of tools that enhance the use of liquidity pools and promote a resilient community.
To achieve this vision, a weighted voting protocol is being developed, which will assign 75% of the voting power to token and NFT holders, 15% to council members (3% each) and 10% to the janitor. The aim is to ensure that the LP Army, as well as all $DED token + NFT holders, supporters and the broader Meteora community, have a say in the "life" of $ded.

A month after $DED was created, Obsidian (331) and Diamond (69) cards were airdropped to those valiant enough to engage, provide liquidity, and participate in the newborn community. These cNFTs, symbols of undying $DEDication, marked their holders as the OG guardians of the $DED realm. Serving as the sacred whitelist for the exclusive PFP drop, they continue to grant epic multipliers and bonuses in $DED events, celebrating the unwavering spirit of the founding heroes..
Making history as the first 699 NFTs minted from tokens of a fractionalized NFT, the $DED PFPs emerged as legendary artifacts. Minted on the Ovols platform at a cost of 69 $DED for whitelist and 100 $DED for the public, they sold out in under five minutes. These iconic NFTs will eventually migrate to the groundbreaking WNS standard, crafted by Ovols and the WEN foundation, cementing their place in the Solana galaxy.
